My name is James Kalkowski and I am the owner of Arrest History, being operated under my business, New England Computer Forensics, LLC.  In November, 2005 I retired from the Hamden Police Department where part of my duty was  supervising the records division.  I witnessed countless businesses sending potential employees into our police department to get background checks, not realizing that local police departments do not perform statewide checks for the public.  Local police departments can only provide you with information from their own databases, not statewide.  Seeing all these businesses unknowingly hiring people with conviction records led me to create this site.  This site allows users to search for convictions that are the result of an arrest in ANY of Connecticut's 169 cities or towns.  Results are instantly displayed on your screen, no waiting for return e-mails or faxes.  Since April, 2004, Arrest History has provided over 100,000 background checks to would be employers.

This is not a phantom website in another country hidden behind multiple corporations.  You will not have to wonder where the information is coming from and you can get your questions answered.  I am located in Connecticut and all of my contact information is listed here.  If you ever have any questions about any information you look up, I will be here to answer.
